Posted on July 30, 2023November 5, 2024 By Doug Scobel

Your membership in the Lowbrows entitles you to substantial discounts on Sky and Telescope magazine and Astronomy magazine subscriptions.

With either magazine, contact the treasurer if you are having trouble obtaining the club discounted rates. Some of the following instructions may be out of date and some details may have changed. Let the club treasurer know if you have trouble with any of the following.

Sky and Telescope Magazine

To get Sky and Telescope magazine’s club rate, do the following:

  1. Go to skyandtelescope.org
  2. Near the top of the page click “CLUBS & EVENTS” to the right of the main logo.
  3. Scroll about a third of the way down to “ASTRONOMY CLUBS & ORGANIZATIONS”. Click the link in “Already a member of an astronomy club? Subscribe to Sky & Telescope at the discounted club rate!”.
  4. Follow the instructions provided on the form. As of this writing, they provide Digital only and Print & Digital. There is no multi-year option.
