January 20, 2017: Paul Walkowski (Lowbrows). ā€œBuilding a Ten Inch Edscope.ā€

Paul Walkowski built a beautiful 10ā€ wooden telescope many years ago. However, this scope was heavy and difficult to move around. He decided to build a new telescope, that wasn’t as heavy. After completion of this scope, the result was a reduction in weight from his previous scope by about 30 pounds. The net weight of this new instrument is about 35 pounds including batteries.

Paul gave a presentation on the process of building this scope.
