The final University Lowbrow Astronomers meeting is coming fast. That has almost an apocalyptic tone, eh? But actually, it is just the final meeting of 2024. The club will roll on.
We will be in our home at the Detroit Observatory on Friday, December 20 at 7:30 PM. I have been looking forward to this one because dedicated club member, Gary Nichols, will be speaking to us about his journey into EAA. The three most known “smart” imaging telescopes are produced by ZWO, Unistellar, and Vaonis, and Gary has used them all. He loves them all but also been frustrated by them all in one way or another. He is going to take us on that journey of discovery. I suspect we will learn a lot about the devices and how they compare and be entertained along the way. I hope you can join us!
Clear skies,
Charlie
